Đối tác vì sự phát triển giao thông đường thủy nội địa Việt Nam – 25-Year Partnership for Vietnam’s

Ngày 28/8 hàng năm là ngày thành lập ngành giao thông Việt Nam. Hãy cùng xem quan hệ đối tác trong 25 năm qua giữa Việt Nam và Ngân hàng Thế giới mang lại những thay đổi gì cho ngành giao thông quan trọng này của Việt Nam. Đầu tư cho giao thông đường thủy nội địa hiện chỉ chiếm 1% trong tổng đầu tư của toàn ngành giao thông. Đầu tư thêm vào linh vực này sẽ mang lại những lợi ích xã hội, kinh tế và môi trường quan trọng vì đây là một phương tiện giao thông chi phí thấp, khối lượng lớn và thân thiện môi trường.

August 28 is celebration of Vietnam Transport Sector Day. Let’s see how strongly the partnership in the last 25 years between Vietnam and the World Bank Group in development of the Vietnam’s Inland Waterway Transport has brought about enormous transformations to this important sector in Vietnam. Investment in inland waterways transport currently accounts for only about 1% of the total transport investment. More investment in the sector would bring about momentous social, economic and environmental results as it is a low-cost, high capacity and environmental friendly mode of transport.
